Mar 04 2010

"Official" calls were slightly in black, as the day started with two stops, and was saved later by bigger VXX win and some more scalps. But the real flavor of the day was of course TIVO, with monstrous move that provided scalpers with a lot of opportunities on both sides.

[11:48] {Threei} We are pleased that the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit fully affirmed the district court's finding of contempt against EchoStar, including both the disablement and infringement provisions. Additionally, this ruling paves the way for TiVo to receive the approximately $300M in damages and contempt sanctions awarded to us for EchoStar's continued infringement through July 1, 2009. We will also seek further damages and contempt sanctions for the period of continued infringement thereafter. We will continue our efforts to protect our intellectual property from further infringement."

[14:46] {Les} "I'd buy that for a dollar"
[14:46] {dino} thing too ron, there's always a bull market somewhere, and w/internet you find it fast. back to the old buy and hold vs new instant trades
[14:46] {nemo} gonna' have to work through the gunk
[14:47] {nemo}, not that movie
[14:47] {Les} dead or alive, you're coming with me
[14:47] {Threei} [14:46] {dino} thing too ron, there's always a bull market somewhere, --- just look at TIVO for illustration, while market did almost nothing

[14:52] {Les} how?
[14:52] {Threei} look through that guy's alerts,
